OMTA (Oregon Music Teachers Association) offers a yearly, one-on-one graded evaluation by a certified adjudicator, to encourage the development of performance excellence and musicianship skills.

Junior Festival

The National Federation of Music Clubs Festivals program is designed to promote music study, stimulate interest in American music literature, and to encourage all participants to reach a high standard of musical achievement. Offered yearly during the third week of April, NFMC Junior Festival is a non-competitive event that provides performance and evaluation opportunities for students of teachers throughout Beaverton. Junior Festival takes place throughout the week from 9 AM – 4 PM in performance groups or 20 minutes to 60 minutes depending on the age group and playing level.
