Sleep Saga Duet

Description

This set of six pieces was written during a sleepless night in a hotel room with loud partying going on next door. Instead of getting angry and banging on the wall, I asked myself a simple question, “When were other key times in my life that I could not sleep?” The saga begins when I am five years old and I am afraid of monsters under my bed, to the love triangle in fifth grade, to the night before my wedding, coming full circle to a sleepless night where my own kids are afraid of monsters under their beds.
